Mat Mitchell, Chair of the board of trustees, thanks Deiniol for his outstanding work, “Deiniol was a marvellous asset to the project and was key in establishing it in its early stages, turning his hand to a large variety of tasks both on site and in the office. During his eight months with us, he has helped us to achieve so much. We all wish him the very best for his next ventures.”
The Project Officer role has evolved slightly now that our very busy schedule of work on site has eased off. This year has seen the big contract for blocking 11 kilometers of drainage grips, the construction of a compost loo and a shed using roundwood timber framing, along with the ongoing monitoring of our growing herd of wild horses. Building on the social media presence that Deiniol has established throughout this time, Nia will be expanding the communications work as well as taking responsibility for other areas of our work and helping with duties on site.
